Panic Attack - New Song

Hello tastemakers and party people. Please give a listen to my new song, won't you? It's a song about engaging in the act of infidelity, in high fidelity. I wrote it a long time ago, but if you know me, you understand that I am often pondering things until it is not really reasonable to do so and the next thing you know it's been five years. Anyway, please find the song at SoundCloud where the song can be streamed and/or downloaded at your leisure. There's even a prelude where I be croonin' and shit, ya know, for the ladies.

SHUT YOUR FUCKING FACE (and listen!)

So guess what? I've been officially added to the roster of comedy bloggers for the music site Shut Your Fucking Face and Listen dot com (colloquially referred to as SYFFAL) and would love for you to check out my new weekly op-ed on the pop culture of my youth as it compares to the pop culture of today. My third installment should be up later today, concerning the work of Chaka Khan as she relates to Katy Perry, and it follows a bit on Thundercats and another about Parenthood where I work in a story about the time I convinced my mom to buy Bill & Ted's Excellent Cereal and there were bugs in it. Hope you enjoy it, and keep your browser pointed here; I'm working on a ton of fun new things to share soon.

You should join my book club

So I started a book club. It's really informal, but I'm pretty excited about the whole thing (full disclosure: I'm easily excited). We just read Kurt Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions, and in the month of March we're reading F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Beautiful and the Damned. There's more info in the podcast I recorded with my friend Jaley, that you can find here, and I recommend you give a listen to. Hope you like it.

"Didn't you learn anything from Love Day?"

Hey. New episode of The Smoothcast is up. You'll learn answers to the most important things ever, including but not limited to how to build shelves out of that crumbly black snow, how to drink scotch to the point of talking but not yet falling over and dying, and what the exchange rate for Hungarian women is (hint: 3 fresh apples goes a long way in Eastern Europe). It's the funniest episode we've ever made. Hope you like it.

Songs to make love to your old lady by

I used to make a mix CD every Valentine's Day called Songs to Make Love To Your Old Lady By. I used to give it to my friends and say "Think of me when you're having the best sex of your life!" It was hilarious and creepy, much like my whole persona. Anyway, I decided to try and actually put all the songs together, mixtape-style, in the grand tradition of the homie Ryebread, who is wayyyyy better at this than me. Anyway, the mixdown is awful, but the songs are fantastic, as you'll see when you download the mix right here. Have fun tonight people. Get funky. Celebrate your love, and think of me when you're having the best sex of your life.
